Primary classes meet on campus Mondays, Tuesdays and Thursdays from September through mid-May, guided by one or more professional teachers who are assisted by member parents.
Optional Spring Extension and 4 or 5-day on campus programs are available.
Core Academic Subjects for Primary levels (Grades K-4) include Language Arts, Math, Science, Bible, Social Studies taught by a professional teacher
Primary students are able to move between levels as appropriate to meet individual learning needs, based on assessments and consultation between parents and teachers
Besides traditional academic subjects, students have daily physical education and recess as well as classes in Spanish, Art, Music and Life Skills
Students take home detailed assignments to complete with their parents during home school (Satellite) days, as well as project ideas for fun learning experiences.
Frequent communication between parents and teachers is encouraged and expected.
