All students at FFC receive an education in harmony with the Statement of Faith, Worldview and Practice, with the Bible as an integral part of the curriculum and all subjects presented from a Christian perspective.
While FFC does not require families seeking to enroll students to personally embrace the Statement, as a condition of enrollment, all families are expected to sign an agreement to support their students being taught from the principles described in the Statement of Faith, Worldview and Practice.
It is a requirement that all individuals in roles leading students or in positions facing the public embrace the Statement of Faith and Practice listed below, and seek to faithfully live by its principles as a part of the Christian community.
Students at all levels learn what it means to live in Community - both within FFC and in the larger community.
Primary students take weekly “Life Skills” classes and participate in service projects throughout the year
Beginning at the Middle School level (Grade 5), all students take leadership classes, gradually increasing students’ abilities for self-leadership
At the High School level, the Students Helping as Peer Educators (SHAPE) program maximizes student involvement in planning, resourcing and benefiting from educational offerings
SHAPE students also have opportunities to assist in tutoring, co-leading and assisting younger students in ways that benefit both the older and younger students.
Together, we learn and have fun doing it!
